 Wrestlemania II took place in 3 different venues... Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum in Uniondale, New York Rosemont Horizon in the Chicago suburb of Rosemont, Illinois Los Angeles Memorial Sports Arena in Los Angeles, California. The combined attendance was 40,085 NEW YORK The Magnificent Muraco vs Paul Orndorff This match ended in a double count-out meaning it was a draw. Points: Magnficent Muraco 5 points , Paul Orndorff 5 points 'Macho Man' Randy Savage (c) vs George 'The Animal' Steele for the Intercontinental Championship Savage pinned Steele with a roll up and putting his feet on the rope as leverage.  Here are my first year Pay Per View rankings based on the events I have already allocated points for. Events in the year Wrestlemania and The Wrestling Classic The Junkyard Dog tops the rankings, winning against Greg Valentine at Wrestlemania. Although not actually winning the title he picked up 25 points for this win.  He then went on to win The Wrestling Classic tournament, defeating Randy Savage in the final, picking up 7 points along the way.  I have given myself the task of ranking all of the WWF/WWE superstars from all the Pay Per Views spanning from 1985 to the present day. The rankings will be based purely on results, which I will use a points system that I have created linked to each event and match. So, here we go... In 1985 the WWF made it's first Pay Per View event - Wrestlemania. This event took place at Madison Square Garden in New York, with a live attendance of 19,121.  The first match on the card, and first ever WWF Pay Per View match, was TITO SANTAN vs THE EXECUTIONER (Buddy Rose) This was Buddy Roses only Pay Per View match for the WWF. Tito Santana submitted The Executioner with a figure four leglock after 4 minutes 49 seconds of the contest.
