1985 Pay Per View Rankings

 Here are my first year Pay Per View rankings based on the events I have already allocated points for.

Events in the year

Wrestlemania and The Wrestling Classic


The Junkyard Dog tops the rankings, winning against Greg Valentine at Wrestlemania. Although not actually winning the title he picked up 25 points for this win. 
He then went on to win The Wrestling Classic tournament, defeating Randy Savage in the final, picking up 7 points along the way.

Tito Santana ended up 3rd in the overall rankings and 2nd in the singles rankings. In defeating The Executioner, in the first ever WWF Pay Per View match, he collected 20 points. 
In the Wrestling Classic he advanced to the quarter final, defeating the Magnificent Muraco in the first round and competing in a double countout against Paul Orndorff in the quarter final. This gained him 2.5 points in total.

 Wendi Richter tops the Womens singles rankings and comes 2nd in the overall rankings.
At Wrestlemania, with the support of Cyndi Lauper (pictured), she defeated Leilani Kai to win the WWF Womens Championship. This gained Richter 31 points





Womens Singles

The Iron Sheik and Nikolai Volkoff top the tag team rankings due to winning the WWF Tag Titles at Wrestlemania against the U.S Express. This gained them 30 points. They had the same amount of points as Hulk Hogan and Mr T but were put a place higher due to winning the tag titles.
Individually they picked up 15 points for this in the overall rankings, but both lost a point due being eliminated in the first round of the Wrestling Classic. Due to Nikolai being pinned in just 9 seconds by Dynamite Kid, he finished below The Iron Sheik.
