There was only one Womens match to decide the rankings in 1986. The Fabulous Moolah defeated Velvet McIntyre to retain her WWF Womens Championship. This gained her 31 points, 20 for winning the match and 11 for holding onto the title. This gained her top spot in the womens rankings and 2nd in the overall rankings.

The British Bulldogs, Davey Boy Smith and The Dynamite Kid, won the WWF Tag Team Championship at Wrestlemania II which gained them 30 points (20 for winning match and 10 for winning the title) and top spot in the mens tag team rankings. Accompanied by Ozzy Osbourne and Lou Albano, they defeated The Dream Team, Brutus Beefcake and Greg Valentine who were the champions heading into the event.

The Fabulous Moolah is 2nd. She won her title match but, due to having a shorter match than Wendi Richter, she is not in top spot. Moolah and McIntyre both have 31 points.

The British Bulldogs top the rankings, also with 30 points. They are above Hogan and Mr T because they won a tag title. The Iron Sheik and Nikolai Volkoff are on the same point and won a title, but are behind the Bulldogs due to having a shorter match for the title.
