  Pay Per View events in 1988 Wrestlemania IV, Summerslam, Survivor Series 'Macho Man' Randy Savage, with help from Miss Elizabeth, tops the rankings for 1988 in both the combined individual and the mens singles categories. He was also 3rd in the mens tag team rankings, along with his Mega Powers teammate Hulk Hogan. He received a huge 110 points (combined and singles) for his Wrestlemania IV tournament win, 11.25 points (combined) for his Summerslam main event with as part of the Mega Powers and 22.5 points (combined and singles) for surviving the main event of Survivor Series, again with Hulk Hogan.  This impressive year by Savage also put him top of the 1985-88 ongoing rankings, removing Hogan from top spot.
